The
Illinois State Veterinary
Medical Association (ISVMA)
The Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association (ISVMA)
predicts, monitors and confronts issues that affect the licenses
of Illinois veterinarians. More than 1,500 Illinois veterinarians,
who are ISVMA members, depend upon representation and services
provided by the ISVMA, thereby continuing to ensure the strength
of the veterinary profession in Illinois.
The ISVMA works for veterinarians
and protects them every business day, caring for their
veterinary practices and licenses. Veterinarians are
affected by constantly changing business procedures,
regulatory pressures, and educational demands. It is
virtually impossible for any veterinarian alone to continually
monitor the areas that could greatly impact their license
or practice.
The ISVMA entered into
a referral partnership with TRANSFIRST Health
Services in March 2004 so that it could offer its members
a cost-effective and flexible option in credit card processing.
The partnership was launched the second week of April
with the publication of a lead article in the ISVMA newsletter,
The EPITOME. The article described this new benefit option
and encouraged members to call for further details and
for a free savings analysis of their current credit card
program. For general information about ISVMA, click on
the ISVMA logo, or contact the ISVMA Program Manager
at 800-577-8573 to receive additional information about
