Don Krasnosky joined TRANSFIRST in June 2005 as president of TRANSFIRST's Shared Services Division. In October 2007, he also took on the role of chief operating officer (COO). Krasnosky focuses on identifying and implementing key technologies and processes to maximize performance for TRANSFIRST's customers. He oversees the company's efforts to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiencies between TRANSFIRST's core business units. Krasnosky also is responsible for corporate retention, creation of a shared sales support function, and TRANSFIRST's Direct Merchant portfolio.
As COO, Mr. Krasnosky's goals for TRANSFIRST are to make the process for adding new merchants to the processing platform simpler, faster and more straightforward. He also aims to reduce attrition and increase retention of all merchants at TRANSFIRST.
Mr. Krasnosky has more than 18 years experience in the credit card and payments industry. Prior to joining TRANSFIRST, he served such companies as MasterCard and 7-Eleven as a payment systems consultant. In this role, he specialized in payment-related products and services including credit/debit and stored value products, transaction processing and electronic funds transfer. He was also responsible for overseeing the back-office operational functions such as merchant implementation, chargeback processing, help desk processes and credit and debit card reconciliation.
His extensive background also includes experience as product manager of settlement and banking for SPS Payment Systems and accounting and financial development for Electronic Data Systems (EDS). He has also served as the senior director of portfolio conversions and as group manager of strategic planning and acquisitions for Paymentech. In 1999, he joined Priceline WebHouse Club, the division of Priceline that specialized in selling gasoline and groceries via the Internet.
A former intelligence specialist with the United States Army, Mr. Krasnosky graduated Cum Laude with a concentration in Finance from the University of Miami.
