TransFirst is once again participating in the gathering of thousands of payments industry professionals at TRANSACT℠ 15, taking place March 31-April 2, 2015 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California — a city often described as the incubation for innovation.  It’s the industry’s largest and most important occasion powered by the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) global trade association. The theme of this year’s annual event is: Connecting The Payments Technology World.

The entire payments ecosystem will convene on the conference center’s 55,000 square foot trade show floor and everyone — from the major mobile network operators and equipment manufacturers — to online service providers, retailers, major processors, investors and all major card brands, will be on hand. Thousands of thought leaders will share their knowledge and expertise on payments today. Here you can gain access to the latest advancements in payment technology to help you grow your business.

Groundbreaking payment innovations will debut on the expo floor and 59 educational sessions will command the attention of global technology journalists and trade press. Craig Tieken, TransFirst’s Vice President of Product and Integrations, will be among them, presenting an educational session on the hot topic of digital wallets.

Tieken will talk about various types of wallets and their differing applications and discuss market trends, drivers and future expectations of digital and mobile wallets, as new payments and mobile technology products, services and solutions come to market.

A digital wallet allows a user to make an electronic payment with a financial instrument (such as a credit card or digital cash) while hiding its sensitive details. Digital wallets have the ability to authenticate the consumer through the use of digital certificates and/or other methods and securely store and transfer the value of the payment, thereby securing the payment process from the consumer to the merchant.

TransFirst is honored to be part of TRANSACT 15 among industry influencers of its own kind, actively driving the payments landscape into the future. TransFirst leads the way in payments as its merchants get the advantage of working with a full-service processor with the infrastructure and experience to offer benefits like live, 24/7, U.S.-based support; next-day funding; data breach protection and PCI compliance support; industry-leading data security technology; and guidance from some of the top integration and mobile processing experts in the business.

If you’re attending TRANSACT 15, please stop by TransFirst’s exhibit at Booth # 1115 and say hello!
